SuBo - Britains Not Got Talent - Susan Boyle ' The Hairy Angel'

I am so fed up with the endless onslaught of reality tv.
Are we so easily pleased to watch 'Britain Exploits The Mentally Challenged', 'Pop Idol' and 'X-Factor'?
Fair enough, have talent contests, but as one ends another begins, and the winner is touted as the next big thing, then gets to number one in the charts then disappears from sight.

If these talents were 'that' good, they would have longevity and success.
All they seem to do is sing the songs that are written for them and smile.

If somebody wants to make it big, if they can do it without the embarrassment of a tv talent show, then they will certainly have much more credibility in the publics eyes.

I feel pity for Susan Boyle, essentially a national joke.
I hope she calls her debut album, - The Hairy Angel.

Of the all the reality shows out there, talent contests are by far the least exploitive and the most transparent. That said -- I am also sick of the reality craze that substitutes fame for flash in the pan talent where the vision of a professional would have easily seen the market value in "the undiscovered."
