I saw a sad thing today that puzzled me.
I was walking past a lamp post on a busy road and i noticed it had a sign attached to it.
The note was small and had a picture of a xmas tree and xmas decorations on it, with a picture of a present on it. The pictures had been coloured in and a small amount of words were written.
The hand written text had been written by a child to their father, who had obviously been killed at this spot, asking what he was getting for christmas and stating what the child hoped to get for xmas. The note was faded and had been there for a while.
It was very upsetting to read and my heart goes out to the child or children who have lost a father.

What i question is, why do people place signs at the scenes where people have died? would that person not have preferred people to leave messages or flowers at the deceased's favorite park or graveside. Perhaps write a letter and send it out into the wind? somewhere nice not where they where killed?
I would not like the scene of my death to be a place remembered every year. Remember the person, surely that is better?

Things are changing, and changing fast. People are all too stressed and busy to speak out or be bothered anymore. It wont be long before we are all fighting, fighting for fuel, its started, look at Iraq!

My household bills have shot through the roof in the last year or so, food is rising rapidly, just look at the price of bread and cheese, everything is rising fast. I will have to start shopping at Aldi soon!

Ultimately it is because of energy prices rises.
What pisses me off the most is the millions being made by all the fuel suppliers whilst the rising cost of the oil per barrel is going through the roof, all the end users have to make up the subsidy.

The governments...no the people should take back these industries and re-nationalise them, rather than cater for the shareholders, they should provide a service to there customers, that is reasonable and not a rip off.

The world is running out of oil, coal and gas, but surely in these advanced times, when we can invent crazy stuff, we can invest and invent green alternatives that will provide a cheaper solution than just burning everything that's left. Hey i can provide an enormous amount of methane (you wouldn't believe how much!) that might help.

What happens as we get closer to all these reserves running out. Well internationally it will pay to choose your friends wisely. Choose the U.S or Russia? Russia will probably be the better option they are already starting to kick ass , making moves to lay claim to the North Pole to drill all the oil out. When it gets serious, wars will be started.
What happens to the Middle East when the oil runs out there? Saudi Arabia is super wealthy, yet when there is no oil left, watch it turn back into a desert again.
We may see different countries in each region taking over from one another in the wealth stakes when they court the West to sell there reserves. Short term solution that will destroy the region.
Its that bloody sunny over there, they should have one large super solar panel, that would work perhaps. Didn't the Man with the Golden Gun have a big solar panel? maybe they should approach him, he seemed to know about controlling energy.

We just need to do something fast, because it will be in our lifetime that it all turns to shit, and i don't want to be here when it does!
Do something! speak up or cause trouble, piss off the people who tell you what to do! Draw attention to all the things that are wrong, the companies that rip us off and control what we do in our lives. Make the people who are supposed to represent us do something, if they cant, they should not be there. Rant over....for now!!
